Oh yeah, in 1989, the W126's seats wereupdated, and the leather became more "supple". I think the cars got ASR traction control as an option in 1991. Dual airbags came in '89 or '90 also.

I am 19 years old and drive a 83 380 SEL which is again, the long wheelbase. These are great cars, so enjoy it and make sure she stays clean!

Im a high school senior right now.. so I got various subjects that I study as you would imagine.

Oh ok. I go to community college for Mechanical Engineering CAD/CAM and I drive everyday.

Well, not all my friends have seen it yet. But for those who have, they seem a bit jelous that I got a nice mercedes and paid less than most of them. Besides.... my w126 looks like a tank compared to thiers. Im just fortunate to have this as my 1st car, not many yong people or adults are as fortunate as I am to own a mercedes.

Same here. Mostly the people that seen it got jealous and eitheir insulted it by calling it a boat or something, or called me spoiled and all those things. I just ignore and watch them drive off in their little Honda's with lawn mower engines.

Mine is not much better.. its pearl white. However the paint is in pretty good shape.

Hey Snibble, I hope you plan on going on to College and getting a career in something that pays decent!

Once you have owned and driven in a Benz for any length of time, nothing else will do and you will always want to add to your stable.
