Carfax worked fine on my 500 it never gave any problems. Other sites tought it was a 2000 s500. Well if it was imported in 85 it could slip trought alot of cracks but if after 85 they were much harder on imports. just some usless knowledge I picked up

the american made 184bhp
the euro 240-245 I found this out through emailing germany nonstop for about a month.

We got the 500SEL and SEC in 1984.
If you see anything earlier than that, it's a gray. They seem to be quite abundant too, not surprising that the previous top-gun of the S-class lineup was the 380SEL, with only 155 hp in stock form. Thank you 8:1 compression ratio and horrible exhaust system with monolithic cats. -Sam
