Ideas on getting rid of 8k gallons of water
I had my pool water tested today and was told the Cyanuric Acid is getting high. I was told I need to drain about 1/3 of my pool (26k gallons) and refill with new water.
I do not like the idea of dumping 8k of water down the drain. I would love for someone to come and suck out 8k of water and repurpose it. Any idea on who to call? I have about a month to figure this out.

Call your local utility co. Line boring machines use non potable water all the time and might be a perfect solution for you.

Does Non potable mean that it is water you can't put in a stove pot?

See if you can find someone that services Car Washes. They have to have the catchment tanks drained now and then so there is bound to be such a service there in the Metroplex.

We have been dumping straight in the out canyon for years. Mostly when we back-flush. For big dumps we use the fire-fighting/trash pump and spray down the hillside.
I wouldn’t think it would be economically wise for a truck to suck it up, even if they had the ability. I have seen water trucks use fire hydrants to fill up, but they rely on water pressure alone.

The chlorine levels are normal for a pool with hot tub attached.
I just do not like the idea of dumping 8k gallons of water. Just seems like like a waste of perfectly good water.

The chlorine will burn off in a few days if I do not add any to the pool. I just don't have any use for 8k of water at the moment much less any place to store it.

Around here that amount of water has a tap-provided-cost of about $14.....not very "Valuable"
Putting it down the drain means it will just go back where it came from in the first place.

How long does it take for that amount of water to evaporate where you are? (tx means Texas right?)

Call your Fire Department. They may be able to use the water as backup in their engines built in tank.

That's what a swimming pool is, especially in the Southwest.

I'd put it down the storm sewer. Not sanitary but storm.
