Can you cite a specific passage or article?

Looks like all Barry's red line talk and endless empty suit speeches over Syria is now coming home to roost.. Barry gave every enemy of the U.S. an open invitation with time to out manuever him..

Please define what a "little war" is to you?

Perhaps the "little war" with (4) dead Americans deserted by the Obama Regime in Benghazi, Libya?

So...in view of all the latest developments, is it safe to say the U.S. is still on a mission to depose Assad ? I would like to know everyones views, whether it be for or against Western meddling in Syria's political affairs.

Syria would have been an unprovoked attack as was Iraq.

We have gotten away with it for now.
It still isn't..but then came ISIS.

I read that the Alawites are about 10% of the population. Sort of odd that they somehow became the ruling class. It's a pretty rough neighborhood. It could be that they have been under threat of slaughter for a long time.

It seems that Asad has some sanity regarding Israel and the west. He seems to let them be. I have a bad feeling about this. My feeling is that the 'moderate' rebels would line up 10 times with ISIL before they'd line up with us once.

President Obama has not made Chilcutt's question an easy one to answer.

I dunno.

No war drums for Syria until they cross the line in the sand. I heard it myself.

I have a horrible feeling that a lot of people would miss Assad were he and cronies to be slaughtered wholesale.

Solid answer. Is good to see the mindset shifting from the 'We got the bomb, what are we waiting for..Nuke em' chestpounding, tunnel vision..to one of..'Well,if we look at what happened to Libya and Iraq ,and now ISIS has been unleashed-perhaps we should pan the camera lense back and think about all of this very carefully'.

Interesting sect, the Alawites. No wonder ISIL doesn't like Assad. A regular pagan heretic.

With recent Events in Syria it is perhaps time to revive this threas.

This is not to argue with anyone or push any agenda of Mine but no matter what the USA or anyone else dose or in fact does not do in the area the results are going to be unpredictable.
The only close prediction anyone can make is that what ever happens as a result of doing something or not doing something the results are not going to end up being peaceful.
