Any 1988 300SEL owners?
I would like to hear your stories on this model. Any information on this partuclar model would be appreciated. I have done an archive search and found little info other than damages that have occured on this model.

It doesn't seem to be a very common model. I would start by researching the other w126 body cars such as the 420SEL, 560SEL, and 300SDL for any concerns other than engine. I would think your car would have the same 3.0 liter engine that's in every 300E on the road. Try the 300E for engine issues.
