2000 Mercedes C-280 irritating beep

When I turn the key to "on" or start, there is a loud irritating
beep. Thinking it was the FSS, I reset that but "beep" continues. How do I get rid of it?

AutoTrader worked for me. I'm sure someone will come along to help you my man. This forum is great for that kind of stuff.

If you have telephone ikons on the right side of your steering wheel (not familiar with the C Class) try pressing the "hang up" ikon. This worked for me on my E Class.

Irritating beep

The C-280 is equipped for a phone, but none installed. No switches on tyhe steering column for "hang-up" or anyplace else that I can find. I am going looking for a fusae for the phone maybe that will do it.

System Test?

Sounds like either an ABS System test or a FI System test cycle.
