Pretty impressive! That's the only way you'd ever see a B29 roll or loop.... as an RC model.

As a pilot, I've never tried to fly an RC plane. They didn't have 'em when I was a kid. All I flew as a kid was a little balsa plane with an .049 on a guide wire, getting dizzy while it went round and round.

It looks like it would be hard to fly a plane in which you're not sitting in the seat.

Thanks for posting.

That is exceedingly cool. I wonder if Chuck Yeager's ever seen it in person? That would have to bring back some memories...and maybe some rather unpleasant ones, too.

Thanks for the post.

Amazing how much time, effort, and money are into a lot of these R/C planes. I also have heard that they're exceedingly difficult to fly as well.

I was so happy when pre-shaped foam wings hit the market! Saved so much time from having to deal with bass wood, hot stuff and monokote

Yeah, it's simpler, but you can't get all high from the monokote...and it would melt right through the foam.

Monokote is shrink wrap plastic, You're thinking of the doped tissue paper/silk.

You're right, even further back in time. And it seems the stuff affected my memory, too.
