Yep. We're getting rain right now.

My Mother and two sisters live in Jacksonville.

HAARP going to steer it out to sea.

We have been getting some rain from it too.

Just when gas was getting cheap again...

A bad storm to be sure, but if it drifts over towards Texas they can sure use the rain out west.

what I've put on my Facebook surmises today....:

'Leave the house: barely raining. Go to post office. Still barely raining. Go to walmart, again barely raining. try leaving the store... Downpour.... Get to the vehicle. Still pouring....get everything in and head home....Downpour.....Get home and everything in and put away...Rain slows down.....BAH'

Uhhh, I thought you WANTED expensive gas to make alternatives more viable, from your posts in the alt energy threads.:confused:

Never to fear, Goldman Sachs and the day traders will find an excuse to run another pump and dump on oil prices before long.:rolleyes:

(Reuters) - U.S. regulators said on Monday Gulf of Mexico oil and gas operators had shut in 44.1 percent of daily oil and 34.8 percent of daily natural gas production because of Tropical Storm Debby, a near doubling of the oil total from Sunday.

Thing One drives an orange boat for HOS these days. They were doing a plug and abandonment somewhere south of Mobile when this thing kicked up...sitting on their a$$es in Pensacola now.

Bet you guys wish you could have a modest tropical storm hang over inland west and central Texas.

otoh my son in Pensacola area now is making me and the Mrs plenty nervous what with his house being a quarter mile from pensacola bay or so and only a few feet above sea level.:eek:

he is not worried though.:confused:

Looks like it is moving in along the southeast Ga coast.

i got email this morn saying no problemo in pensacola for the son.
