My Dad's 96th Birthday
Yesterday we had a nice day in the country for my Dad's 96th Birthday. Over 150 of his friends and former students came out to salute him and celebrate the day with him.
It was nice seeing him having a good day for once. |

Good days are a blessing for the elderly. My Mom is 94. She still has majority good days but the bad ones are catching-up.

Happy belated to your dad! Glad to hear he had a good time.
My remaining grandmother just turned 92 yesterday. She still has her wits about her and she does very well post-dialysis for a few days then starts to tail off as the week goes on. OTOH my wife's grandmother is 94, very active and able but is losing the battle with dementia. It's too bad they couldn't each split the difference.

Great news!
I lost my Dad a little over two years ago and he had just turned 89 at the time. We almost lost my Mom a few months ago, but she just turned 88. Best wishes for him! Enjoy all the time you can with him.
