I was held up at gun point when I lived in L.A. I did not own a weapon then and I still do not own a weapon. So I bet you are wrong.

I do not believe the COTUS affords the right for every Tom, Dick and Larry to own a weapon. I do not believe anyone should be allowed to own land mines, grenade launchers, shoulder launched missiles, fully armed tanks ...etc. I believe the COTUS specified then need for an armed defense force and their need to be armed.

That ship has sailed so it makes little difference at this point top discuss the intent of the COTUS. At this point we need to figure out a way to reduce the amount of violence in this country.

I agree. I just dont think there is a way to do so really. If someone is determined to kill, they will. No law or lack of gun will stop them.
