The stereo in my ML...
Took a dump!
Of all the things to die....  No entertainment for a 2 hour drive is slightly annoying.

check the fuses. The one in my ex girlfriends ML stops working all the time and she has to pull the fuse and put it back in for it to fire back on.

Just replace it with a entry level unit for $100, more if you want more. IF you want REAL nice stuff look at the Pioneer AVIC double DIN units. That is what I'm saving for in my VW, everything you can ask for in a stereo.

The G-Class doesn't even have a stereo and i've been driving it that way for months. Just enjoy the sound of the wind going by and the engine doing it's job

I haven't turned my stereo on on three months. It's been on a total of two or three times this year.

The stereo in the SL is useless...it's just there for looks, as it never gets used
