Republican V.P.???

Who's it gonna be?

I'm thinking Romney will pick Sen. Marco Rubio from Florida. The Mrs. says it doesn't matter. My left-leaning son thinks it will be Condi Rice. My right-leaning son hopes it will be Ted Nugent

How 'bout everyone else?

Do Condi and Ted have time to create some sort of super Republican offspring?

If so, I'm going with that.

I personally think that Bobby Jindal would make a good choice. He's one to push the social programs, provided that it makes fiscal sense and that we can afford them.

His pairing would bring many fence sitters over to the right side of the rail.

What, no love for former GOP candidates or Gov. Christie? It seems like the most mentioned names involve some sort of ethnic or gender minority appeal.

I am not aware of any pres/v pres ever being elected who was single with no kids. Pretty sure that knocks Rice out. The birthers will have a hard time supporting Rubio since his parents weer not US citizens when he was born. I know that has nothing to do with his eligibility but I don't think anyone has told them that yet.

I'm with Kerry, I say give Palin a second chance. She was so misunderstood the first time. I am sure she could do better.

He would make great sense, as would his son- but not for Mitt, as he's still an establishment RINO. They are diametrically opposed on almost every issue.

I think the big guy from NJ would help him also. Forget Jindal or Condi, if he chooses one of them, he may as well withdraw as a candidate. He'd be better off resurrecting "Shooter", at least he'd be assured of the hard right neocon vote. With his new heart, he may be good for another four years.

Shooter?

I heard Rubio on the radio a day or so ago. He is very articulate and good on his feet. His politics don't appeal to me though.

He might upstage Mitt a bitt. (couldn't resist the corny misspell).

I'll say one thing about Mr. Christie. He doesn't have a problem saying what he really thinks. I kinda like that. Not very PC though.
That's why he probably wont be the pick.
