Remote key no go
I'll bet they did not see this coming:
remote not working And we used to complain about having to replace a tumbler on the 123/124 and 126 cars every 15 years or so.

I'd like to know how you'd push a car with RKE out of an interference zone if you couldn't get in the car to take it out of park.

Years ago I posted a thread in the ML forum about a strange anomaly where a section of I-35 in OK had some radio interference planted in that area that would make the SUV go haywire (beeps and all dash warning lights triggered) and erupt in "limp home" mode. I wrote it off the first time, but since it was a frequent route on an annual family trip, I was able to narrow it down to a particular 1/4 mile stretch of highway.
The 99 ML is no longer in my posession, and I have since acquired an '07, then my current '09, and neither of them suffered from the same issue...

The entire city forgot how to use the cut metal key that inside or attached to most Remotes ?
