Just wondering what Obama will do if Israel attacks Iran before the election. That's a no win situation for him and the US.

There is a lot of speculation on the web that it will happen in October.
How will that event affect the voting?

Mormons are well like by Israelis except when they are baptizing deceased Jews into the Mormon church.

If Israel is the aggressor? Enforce an embargo on the place as well as a no-fly zone, as we did in the former Yugoslavia, and in Iraq pre-2001.

But nah, that would never happen.

IMO, you have way too simplistic view of the situation.
In a culture of retaliation, how do you, or anyone, identify "the aggressor"? Every attack is retaliation for some previous attack, which was a retaliation for another, previous attack.

No way Israel goes it alone. There's already a plan. Watch for carrier movement to the area.

From my observation it looks like Obama is a little tougher on Israel than previous presidents.

Romney may be pandering to the Israelis to get votes in the fall.

Will Israel attack to influence our elections? I would be surprised if they would.

According to the old Chinese proverb, better to live with the dragon you know than an unknown dragon.

Would Iran provoke the Israelis right before our election? Only if they felt Romney would be easier on them than Obama.....is that likely? I think not.

But what do I know?

What does any of us know about foreign affairs?

Israel doesn't have to attack to influence our elections. They already have enough influence through the Israel Lobby and AIPAC. Mitt will be another puppet of Benji. Keep in mind also, that present and past officials such as Paul "they'll greet us with flowers and the oil will pay for it" Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, and Henry Kissinger all have dual citizenship.
