Can we stir up a controversy about Harleys?

Is the new Harley, pure?
Can a foreign design firm help develop an american product?

I believe they got some help from Porsche during the development of the v-rod. There was a show on tv the other day about it.

I for one think the V-Rod is a great idea for Harley-brings them forward several decades technology-wise. I'm sure the purists hate it (the Harley equivalent of the 944 & 928), but I think it will definitely sell, and perhaps to a different audience
