600 Pullman

There are some very fine Mercedes cars owned and driven by members of this forum. What I would like to know is are there any Mercedes-Benz 600 owners who use this forum, and if so can we have a photo please? Bear

Not an owner

I'm not an owner, but I took a picture of this beast at the Goodwood Festival of Speed here in England last year

My uncle owned one in Toronto in the mid to late 80s, until his company went under and most of his stuff was seized. It was originally a short wheelbase, but he spent almost 100k having it stretched into a full limo complete with driver partition, television, bar and two separate telehpone systems. I have only one picture of it sitting in his garage months before he lost it. If anyone wants to post this for me (I don't know how to post pics here, but I assume you need to have it posted somewhere else first) email me at priest@mountaincable.net and I will send the pic for posting. It was a great car, excellent condition. I know the limo stretch was pretty far from keeping the car original, but it looked pure Benz and rode like you wouldn't believe.
