Rear tail light lenses

86-91 Mercedes Benz W126 S Class Red Clear Tail Lights Left Right Rear Lamps | eBay
The corners of these lenses are white. Can i assume that if i use an amber signal bulb that these lenses will work OK. The OEM lenses that are on my car now with the Amber corners are over 300.00 ea.

On this side of the pond amber globes a common.
Most new cars have clear corner lenses but must flash amber.
You cold always just wrap a clear globe in some amber (orange) cellophane.

W126 gen II and w124's have a amber globe which covers the bulb area in the front fog lights- perhaps that is what you are looking for.
