A question For Manly Men...

I have a molar that is very loose. should I...

1. Yank it out with a pair of pliers, so I can say that I am the Manliest of Manly Men?

or

2. Go to the dentist.

Wait for the tooth fairy, that way you'll get money.

Any manly man knows that.

Manliness aside, if you do #1, #2 is a certainty-probably soon thereafter.

Chuck Norris always needs a new dentist. Nobody puts Chuck Norris through pain and lives.

3. Quit being a ******* and ignore the pain. The nerve will die eventually.

Well, if you pull the tooth out w/o antibiotics of a specific type, the germs on the root of the nerve will migrate to the valves on your heart, attack them and kill you.

used to happen all the time 50 years ago.

This is why they give people massive doses of antibitotics before during and after a root canal

The fact that you have a loose molar is evidence enough that you're long overdue for a visit to the dentist.

Pain is fear leaving the body.

Patients born befor the late 70's tend to the worst patients for dentist since they have memories of the "bad old days" of pain management. It's much much better now.

I knew a woman that put off major surgery . . . Because she still believed they used ether, a major trauma from her childhood.
