PSAT...Need help from past/present teachers
My daughter is going to take her PSAT next month.
What can I do to help her achieve higher scores?? Is there a website that will help her out with practice questions and assessment tests??

The College Board is the publisher and administrator of the PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT. There are tons of practice tests and study publications online at their website. You can set up a free account for her and really dig deep on that site. Once her results are available you can access them online. A basic PSAT study guide is a bare minimum I'd think. Before you order it from College Board, check prices on Amazon. The last SAT study manual I bought for my son a few years ago was quite a bit cheaper there.
Another suggestion it's not too early to think about. Get a copy of the book "Colleges That Change Lives" and read it with her. The book looks at good colleges throughout the country that are placing SAT scores near the end of their admissions list instead of making that single score the very first hoop a kid has to jump through. Congratulations on being proactive. https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/get-started/for-parents

Isn't the PSAT the same as the NMSQT? I suppose its great practice for the SATs in a couple years. Not to throw off the topic of the thread, I do know that Kaplan does a lot of PSAT stuff, as well as SAT training. Their books are typically a lot cheaper than collegeboard's. Its been a few years for me though. At least for my GREs, princeton review put out some good stuff too along with Kaplan.

PSAT/NMSQT are the same test. If a student receives high enough scores on the PSAT, they are invited to continue the National Merit Scholar competition.
