Pish. that is clearly a rwnj author there. Who cares what they call Muhammad.

I imagine they say it to make it clear which mohmmad they are speaking of since every third boy is named that in the muslim world.

Some imagined entity is trying to make islam our official religeon? Even this nut case author doesn't believe that.

On the contrary. You and I won't see it in our lifetime, but the Muslims are chipping away and have the extreme dishonesty of the MSM behind them.

this is exactly the same type of horseshyt that Muslim extremists believe about Christianity. Extremists on both sides are pretty uniform in their exact fears of the other.

Instead of reading this type of fear mongering drivel and swallowing it completely, it might make sense to see if you can actually watch the ads the author says are playing in Pakistan. Id like to judge for myself how they are "apologizing" without taking the authors word for it.

I use Larry here as an example of extremist behavior-

Heres a guy with pretty extreme views that he regards as mainstream, who never does any further research on opinion pieces he reads and he decides are factual, and who has placed on ignore every single person who typically disagrees with him on this forum, and probably all the forums he's on.

Once you add it all up, you have someone who purposely makes it so hes blind, deaf, and dumb to any dissenting opinion, and only can see agreement, or quasi agreement, which reinforces his belief that his views are widely held and mainstream.

This is exactly what an Islamic extremist terrorist does when he goes off to a training camp in the mountains, taking for granted as truth any silly rumor, and deciding to switch off ones brain and its capacity for critical thinking. The difference there is typically you have a totally uneducated naive little boy or young man whos taken off and molded into an effective terrorist, while here, your typical extremist has all the same access to all the same informational freedoms as the rest of us, but makes an effort to ignore anything they don't like. Its despicable.

he definitely makes a few points that I also find abhorrent, like the fashionable concept of American self hate that happens in this country, which is ridiculous. Totally agree with that point.

However, he does hold a lot of right wing views, mixed with a few liberal viewpoints. He can't be a RWNJ, as the concept is almost always mixed with Christian beliefs, but he holds a lot of similar viewpoints.

I see him as something as a hypocrite though, after his whole agreement with Warren Buffet that taxes should be increased on the rich, and yet when Obama didn't want to extend wealthy tax cuts, he was screaming bloody murder.

Yes, he's actually pretty much a liberal. He was crying "raise taxes" before even the mainstream liberals started spewing these democratic talking points from their mother ship.
