This was a fairly popular mod back then from what I understand. I've seen a couple C3 wagons, although I think they look horrible. The Mustang isn't half bad, I think it works because it kept the shape going well. The corvettes just don't look right.

Put it on my list right after the Merc-amino! The purists are liking me today.

My only problem with it is that it's not big enough to haul six!

Corvettes go REAL fast, and are affordable for what you get.

But they are made quickly, cheaply, and badly.

Oh my god.

Looks like something from American Motors Corporation, who brought us the Marlin, Pacer and Gremlin..

No they don't! Growing up as the son of a Vette-head, I've got an appreciation for them (although the late 70's-mid 90's were a dark era). That said, I'm by no means a purist and don't have an issue with folks cutting and pasting to make their cars fit them. But the Greenwoods, Ecklers, etc. just looked like doodies. The lines just didn't fit together. The only ones I've seen that I liked were the 50's vintage Nomad-style ones.

That actually doesn't look too bad.

The other examples in this thread look atrocious.
