Meh, at least they butchered a 2+2, not the beautiful 365GTC of that era. Wonder if a small block Chevy could fit?

Damn, if I had the money that car would be mine! Love the Ferrari 365GT and 400GT. With a BMW M flat six no brainer.

I'd take the BMW engine with the getrag over the original Ferrari parts simply becuase of age and durability/parts. Although the seller definitely makes it sound like the original car was a manual (no telling, I thought they were all autos). I like it.

Interesting car. I wouldn't mind taking it for a test drive, but I wouldn't buy it. I don't have Ferrari money, not even BMW powered Ferrari money.

I believe they came in a 5speed next to a 3speed GM automatic, at least the 400GT did; in small numbers.

that sounds correct, the manual is desireable. this car has not much value as a collector item. It should be fun to drive though!
