Non-pet owners do not understand how pet owners can be that attached to an animal. Spending hours in an ER is never a good time--whether for human or animal friend. The only consolation is that the ER is there and the patient is getting care that otherwise would not exist.

Struvite crystals and bacteria in the urine and sky high white blood cell count. Exact same state that whipped Ed's butt earlier this week. Ed's getting antibiotics in his IV (and doing MUCH better); Andre we have to get antibiotics in orally. So far, he's been cooperative. Hope that continues as he starts to feel better!
