Great Dealer
In general I would never use the word great and dealer in the same sentence however after several dealings with Mercedes of Eugene (Oregon) I would recommend them in a second. I picked up a key for my 240D there today and never been treated in such a genuine polite manner by any retail or service place in recent memory......

I just went to the Eugene MB dealership today, and had a similarly great experience. First, I have to thank Phil from PartsShop. I asked about buying a piece of the exterior door trim/moulding and he said I could simply get a new clip for $1 at the dealership instead of bothering with a whole new strip.
So, I go to the dealership, fresh $1 bill in hand. At the parts counter the guy greets me, I explain I need a trim clip for the W123. Without even blinking, he hooks me up with a part for my 24 year old car free. He just tells me, "My treat," and sends me on my way. He even gave us instructions on how to install it, not that it is too complicated, but still helpful. After seeing some older diesels and what not in employee spaces at the service/part area, I'm wondering if this might be as good as any local indie mechanic. Well, just wanted to share my positive story. Simon |
