How to find interior color code

Looked on the door panel but no luck.how can I use the Vin #?

Post the vin number here and I think I can get it.

Or go the Mercedes Benz dealer and give them the VIN# and they can pull up the vin # instantly on their Vehicle Master Inquiry and it will show.


On my black 1991 560 SEC it is 199/261 for example.

199 = Pearl Black

261 = Black leather.

I'm not surprised. My dealer svc. dept. wouldn't look up the VIN after I told them it was in their computer. I was looking for a 1988 W124 rim part #.
It might be against MB or dealer policy to do so.
Unless you show up at the dealer, you're probably just wasting their time.
You used to be able to get a lot of info with the VIN from that old Russian site. I'm not so sure you can still get any info there, however. (At least not in English)

No you can't get Vin info from that Russian site any more.
