Ugh, as much as I like it the look of the watch, the way they are marketing it to hipsters kills it for me.

How about some Mercedes Zebrano Veneer? That would look sharp.

I'd love that too actually. I too agree it sucks how they market it. I like odd watches. odder still wearing one bugs me to death.

How can you market to hipsters? Since they're always wearing what's cool before it's cool, they're always moving on to what will be cool in a few years.

Since that watch is cool now, by design, hipsters shouldn't be interested in it...

Looks terrible imo. There are some watches from the 70s with similar oddball designs. Look up the tissot "rock" watches to see what i mean. They also made some wood watches too IIRC. You can grab one off ebay for cheap im sure.
