Voter Fraud Starting Early

It only makes sense that with early voting comes early voter fraud:

ALERT To North Carolina Early Voters | RedState

The voting officials say that the machinery needs recalibrating. I guess they got caught having it "calibrated" for B.O. I'll bet the thing really stinks up the place.

Sort of like living in Venezuela or Cuba, isn't it ?

Air&Road 10-24-2012 11:17 AM

Yeah, I guess the only difference is that there's no one in the boothe with an AK47 while you're voting.

Our plan is working!

I tried to find some mention of this on the Red State BLOGbut remarkably, there was no mention of it. huh....

A GOP operative was observed by multiple witnesses to have discarded completed voter registration forms in a dumpster. This is a crime in Virginia, but the Republican controlled State Board of Elections will not ask the State Attorney General to investigate the matter.

WTVR.com has reported locally from Virginia that The Virginia State Board of Elections (VSBE) will be refusing to prosecute Colin Small, 31, who was arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and voter fraud. Under the written law the Virgina Attorney General is unable to move forward with a prosecution unless it is requested to investigate by the VSBE. Small, therefore, is off the legal hook despite the fact he was witnessed and there is evidence of him committing a crime

I'd like to see a physical paper ballot and a blue finger be standard. Hard to cheat against that, which is why it works even in war zones. It would probably work in Chicago, too.

You really don't want me to start posting links about Demokrat election fraud, do you?

I think Peachyparts would need a bigger server just for Acorn.....

Oh, so now there will be a requirement that you have fingers to vote? Unfair, I say. Not to mention that it could suppress the minority grape voter.

True vote is more important than the desire for rapid results. Slow down the process and get the correct results as the people actually voted.

More voting by mail, like Oregon.

Botnst 10-24-2012 12:55 PM

Oh yeah, that's a good idea. Nobody ever does anything fraudulent by mail.

Hell, that would work even in NC.;)

Having been born and raised here in NC, I'd be flat-out dumbfounded if, for ONCE, neither party pulled any shenanigans in an election.

I'll give you a quick rundown of NC politics here -

We finally elected our first R governor since the Civil War/Reconstruction era in 1972.

The 2010 election marked the first time since the 1800's there was anything approaching an R majority in the state house.

The state house districts, and several Congressional districts, are so gerrymandered between the two parties that in nearly half of the races the incumbent (from either party) is running unopposed - you literally have to wait for the guy to die or retire before there's any change.

Our current governor, Her Drunkeness Bev Perdue (I've seen this woman in person at a public appearance earlier this year, 30 feet away, 3 sheets to the wind at 9:30 AM in front of gawd and country), is so damned incompetent her own party (D's) literally begged her not to run again after her single term - which she agreed to way back in February.

And the R's currently running the state house wasted no time in taking their political revenge after more than a century in the political wilderness.

For that matter, at least in this county, they still use paper ballots where you color in the circle beside your choice for any particular office - then they're fed thru an electronic scanner which reads off which circles have been colored in - about the same level of tech as taking an SAT test or Navy rating exam - and I'm assuming that the paper ballots are still available for rechecking if there's a problem with the machine.

So my main question is, just what is it with these glorified paper scanners that needs to be "recalibrated"?

That said, it would be old news to me that EITHER party in this state was committing voter/election fraud - hell, it been damn near institutionalized for over a century.
