Vanity plate ideas
 

My 190 turned 25 this year and I am going to splurge and get classic car plates for her. It costs $40 and I get to personalize them.

I am allowed 6 letters and numbers but up to 8 characters total. SO 6 letters/numbers plus two characters like a space, . - etc

Four that I was thinking of are

87 COSY
MB COSY
2.3-16
2.3-16V

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Well here was one I saw at a car a show at Los Alamitos AFB down near Long Beach in So Cal. a few years ago. It's newer than yours but souped up C Class. A young Viet guy had it. I like it, it is funneh!

Your described ideas sound rather self referential to the car, though, so is that what you really are looking for?

Thank you for your voluntary additional taxes to the MVA. I appreciate it when people help out the government by shouldering additional tax burden.

You're welcome. I pay a bit extra for my personalized plate. It's an obscure WWII reference, so I find it very rewarding on those rare occasions when someone (usually a former submariner) gets it.

Definitely more options than we have in CT. :mad: 6 letters/numbers and a dot between numbers and letters. All numbers and letters must be separated by the dot. Apparently our officers can't handle all those extra characters or...gasp...numbers and letters mixed together. :eek:

As a Patriots fan, I've always wanted P8RIOT since we're limited to 6 characters but that whole pesky number/letter thing screws it all up.

I tried to get that vanity plate in KY, but the DMV suggested that I shouldn't state the OBVIOUS. :D:D:D

Hmmm. I kind of like CSWRTH as well. I'm leaning toward 2.3-16 or 2.3-16V but I do like yours as well.

Someone mentioned that I can get TX plates that look like the Euro plates (long and narrow) but I have not seen anything on their web site. The person who mentioned this has been known to pull things out of his ass sooooo.......
