R's mad at Christy

So the last day or so, Governor Christy of NJ has been complimenting the Pres on his reaction to the big storm. Now the R's are complaining that he is being too Effusive in his praise of the President.

And Bloomberg endorsed Obama for the same reason.
My my.

It SHOULD be OBVIOUS to anyone what Christie is doing. He's doing his JOB! He's one of the VERY few politicians that has enough character to put politics aside when it comes to taking care of his constituents. It's time to work together with all agencies involved to take care of the folks, and that's what he's doing.

It's quite interesting to see a politician get hammered for NOT being politically partisan.

Both govs did and said the right thing.

We're coming to the end of the political silly season. Hopefully we can put this petty bs behind us next week.

Unless we go into the endless ballot-counting madness.

I'm really afraid that your last sentence will come true. I would not give the odds of us knowing the winner next Wednesday, to be more than 50%.

If by R's you mean Rush and the RWNJ's, you're probably right. But I don't pay them much credence. Most folks; D, R, I and indifferent; probably think he's doing what he needs to do for his state's best interest.

What I don't understand, is how you can complement Christie and Bloomberg for their non partisan complement to the President for his non partisan support and effort in disaster relief, yet make no mention of the President as well.

Do you not see that by endorsing THEIR support of the Presidents actions, you by connection are endorsing the President's behavior as well?

Anathema to his online persona. His only recognition of the President is being a good family man. Beyond that, it would be contrary to his immovable belief that the President is wholly incompetent. Just sayin'.

Bloomberg doesn't surprise me. He's a Republican of convenience only. Christie seems to be doing his job pretty well, and I'm proud that the governor of my home state had the b@lls to throw out partisan considerations. Jersey strong!

If he wasn't going to win it already (which I think he probably was) then Sandy just handed Obama the election.

I hope it will lead to consequences that will postpone the election, followed by a scandal breaking that will cause BOTH front-runners to be unelectable. THAT would be the best possible outcome, since both of the choices suck painfully. At least some good would come of a very bad thing at that point.

Once Obama and Romney become unelectable, who is your choice for the Oval Office?

I cannot figure out how this guy gets elected? Nobody with the sensitivity of a Mack truck and the direct truth, despite the consequences has ever been electable.

This man is the anti-Willard.

I'd vote for him for President in a heartbeat.

Agreed with Mr. Carlton's sentiments here. Run Christie. Open-minded, blunt, honest, not a global warming skeptic, and might appeal to a lot of blue-collar voters in the US as well.
