ALTON - Children's eyes lit up Wednesday night as they took part in the annual shopping spree sponsored by the Alton Branch of the NAACP at the Alton Target.
Now, many of the youths and their families who were assisted by the program will wake up on Christmas Day with festive spirits, NAACP Branch President James Gray said.
