Silly me: I assumed he was thinking of buying a Ferrari.

They are stupid expensive to run. I would get a 911 before I would get a Ferrari. Unless I was loaded, then I might be looking at a 599, or a 430, or a 550, or a 575M...

If I was seriously seriously loaded I'd get an Enzo for street use and make a bid on Fernando Alonso's F2012 just because. It's not like I could drive it on the street, and it takes a squad of engineers and mechanics just to start it, but it would look damn cool sitting in the living room of my mansion.
