What does $6 Trillion Dollars Buy These Days?

When Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barrack Obama took office, the public debt was at $10.6 trillion Dollars. Now, we are getting really close to $16.6 trillion dollars. So, what does $6 trillion dollars buy these days over the course of 4 years ? [[Exclude please the clever arguments that there was X dollars of deficit when Barry took office, or when the USG's fiscal year starts, et cet (I say exclude them since when Barry leaves office in 4 "short" years, those same exact issues will exist for the new guy or gal) so it all comes out in the wash so to speak unless there is radical departure from our last 4 years which appears doubtful.]]

What did we get again for $6 more trillion dollars in public debt incurred during the past 4 years ? Just asking ... I wonder what another $6 trillion dollars in future public debt will actually buy ... some experts claim we will incur that much, additional debt in a short 2 1/2 years. Looks like Barry is speeding up the spending so I think the average guy should see the results of $12 trillion dollars in additional public debt by the year 2015, around July or August. Please give the heads up so I can at least be on the lookout.

Well, we got more use out of Air Force One and got very expensive date nights for he and his lovely bride. Do any of those things count?

Oh yes, we also got a health care bill that he said would cost us $800B, but now is up to at least three times that along with those of us who pay our OWN insurance having drastically higher premiums.

Oh yes, and we also got the Nobel Peace Prize for our fearless leader.

Oh and don't forget the drastic increase in the number of people on food stamps.

Oh and remember the unemployment rate that he promised to be no higher than 6% if we passed his Stimulus package, but has barely made it below 8% since that time.

Oh yes, he promised total transparency in his administra..... oh never mind, that was only a promise that never came together in reality.

Oh and don't forget about Hope and Change. We sure did get that, $6T worth of it.

Well,
We got Osama bin Laden's sorry ass dead and fed to the fishies.
We got Anwar al Awlaki blown to pieces in Yemen.
We continue to rain terror from the skies.
In fact, we got us one killer of a president. The socialists lament:
New US drone attacks in Pakistan and Yemen - World Socialist Web Site

President Barack Obama in fact bears responsibility for the continued bloodletting in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen. While Washington is currently in a de facto alliance with Al Qaeda-connected militia groups fighting against the Syrian government, the so-called “war on terror” remains the pretext for its military operations across the Middle East.

The New York Times reported in November that drone strikes are estimated to have killed at least 2,500 people. This is likely a significant underestimation.

We can argue over value, but, imo, 4 years of relatively secure (from terrorist attacks) living in the US for the 99%ers thanks to the 1% who defend us is, as the saying goes, PRICELESS.

It was a "win" indeed. LOL. So ...

I am still looking for what was purchased at the price tag of $6 trillion dollars in additional public debt and presumably at least an equal amount, if not more, in the next four years. So, for $12 trillion dollars of additional public debt, I want to see something ? Those who are Hypnotized and Mesmerized by Barry, what gives ???

Just as it has been in past elections, the American electorate chose from two candidates. You're saying that they were wrong, but does that matter at this point?

BTW, pretty impressive spending for a single president. Are you saying there was no Congressional oversight on all of it?

Yes!

And remember, boys and girls, this financial nightmare was brought about by GW Bush and the day to day incompetence of his 8 years as POTUS. Incompetence is the defining quality of the GOP. Every GOP president for over the last 60 years has caused either a recession or depression, or both. Who can argue against that kind of record?

So to answer the question, 6 trillion dollars begins to pay for the incompetence brought about by the GOP.

Next question?

Most of these military contraptions were funded and purchased under Bush. Remember him ? He was the guy that Barry blames for everything. He is blamed so much, the common folk are fighting to keep the Bush tax cuts.

$12 + Trillion "extra" in public debt to kill a few thousand folks ... Sounds like a bargain to me ...

How bout factoring in servicing the debt that W left behind??

I really can't stand people who believe that every administration exists in some kind of vacuum. Learn how it works or STFU... Your repeated posts wherein you refer to the president by a name which is not his, and heap responsibility for every issue facing our nation upon him is the absolute pinnacle of hypocritical partisan BS.

Maybe try to be part of the solution instead of the problem.

Yes, and in every administration of the past that inherited a bad economy, significant improvement was shown in their first term. I guess this is another historical record for Obama.
