Old news, but I wonder if this is a good or bad thing.

hehe, yes, simple and easy way to add some computer functions to a car. But in my case, I am putting a full blown Pentium 4 system in my friends truck. :) hehehe
With palm pilot, two screens, the works. its going to be killer. Alon |
Just hope it doesn't bring a new meaning to a computer crashing.

actually we are having a machinist design a floating mechanism for the hard drive, basically we are suspending the drive in an enclosure with springs and rubber to dampen the drive in a bump on the road. And it runs windows XP, which so far has been very stable from my experiences with it, but it is also dependent on having the right software drivers for your system hardware.
The system will mainly be for playing music, and videos, but it can also be a mobile studio technically, because it has the right hardware and software to do it. Alon |
I'll have seom pics for you to see. :) when we complete the project.
We are custom laying a new fiberglass dash, console, and other items. Well I'm not doing the work, but I'm helping him design and lay it out for the guy to do it. Alon |
