New AMG for 2014...

2014 E63 AMG Luxury Sedan - Future Vehicles - Mercedes-Benz

Very nice makeover. But the real news is hidden in the specs, its AWD. I guess AMG is tired of doing smoke shows and must be getting a bit worried about Audi.

Audi's new V8 is a monster...wow.:eek:

I can't wait for someone to get one of those on the dyno, I wonder if they are flat out lying about those HP numbers like Audi is doing lately...I think in a very German way they are getting ahead of themselves with these HP wars and now just understating everything. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that new E63 puts down 5%-10% more than advertised...

Oh I wonder what the skunk works at Brabus can do with it? I bet with AWD they can build a Veyron drag racing monster...:eek: 2.5 0-60? I bet Brabus is going to make something insane...

The biggest nit pick I have with the new MB's is the star in the grill. It is st in plastic (for the cruise radar?) and I don't like it. It looks cheap and tacky. I like the old days when the star was metal and 3D. I know it's a small thing but it bugs me.

The star in the grill is pretty old school really, always on the sporty models.

Now that is a star. They need to bring that back and relocate the electronics they have hidden in the plastic stars they have now.

Ehhh, I am over AMGs...

For the price of a new AMG, you can pick up a pretty sweet Ferrari.... :)
