Part of my job involves fixing things that are broken. I don't work all of the time, but I could be called any time in theory. At minimum, I need some tools and a laptop with me -- a Leatherman or Swiss makes a convenient package for basic tools.

I'd hope that there's some size limit on the locking blade, otherwise some folding nail-files could be cause for arrest.

No. It just has to be locking. I can carry my box cutter with a fresh blade and it will be way sharper than my little klein knife will ever be. Having said that, I do carry my klein knife around as I doubt I would ever get caught with it. MY buddy is a cop and he told me he will tack it onto an offence such as drug possesion but not as a solitary offence.

Interesting that few people actually care about knives under RKBA. Remember that it's not Right to Keep and Bear FIREArms!

It is the right to keep and bear firearms.

Knives are next, in 1986 they went after the full auto's, now the semi's are on the chopping block. First it was 10 round mags, now its 7.

Pretty soon we will be like the UK.

*VIDEO* Time to prime the militias? - The Libertarian Republic

Another article on the same story, but with a rather nice video montage of some of the questions...

I am moving my firearms to Florida so i am not worried Even if I did leave them in NY I would not even bother registering them. The state is just making people lie, cheat and break the law even more. Good job Mr. Caomo.

We all know NY is a fascist state, which is run by the very wealthy people around NY City like Bloomberg. The dear leader dictates to the serf's what is best for them, like in any proper dictatorship.

If they passed NY laws nation wide it would spark a rebellion. Texas would probably try to succeed...

What scares me is that there are those that are trying to get these same restrictions passed nation wide. You're right, it would spark a rebellion...one that this country really doesn't want.

Well, if you are saying that CT is communist, and NY is fascist, where would you rather live?

Loose Gravel, Arkansas?

Texas?
