That song, or a version of it, has been getting some play on the jukebox at a place I frequent. I thought it was ok the first time, found it a little annoying the second time, and now it makes me want to declare jihad on the jukebox when it comes on.

When my mom died Leonard Cohen was playing in the background; can't really listen to him anymore.

I'm jumping in here because I can't find any other of the old music threads. I vaguely remember LaRondo dropping obscure youtube links - is he still around? And the rapier-like wit of PaulC?

Anyway - Buckley was a genius - much like his tragic contemporary Chris Whitley. It's also interesting to hear Mike Doughty (formerly of Soul Coughing..but don't say that to him) talk about his jealously of Buckley.

But back to "I like this song"; well, I like this song. And in the true DIY spirit of this forum; watch him play his diddley bo.
