I can't deny their bang for the buck but I'm getting bored with LSx's in everything.

I think its engine is part of a cars character, so a 911 without the air cooled flat 6 is a just a fat beetle with the motor in the wrong place.

Why not buy a c5 corvette and save the time money and headache.

Renegade's been doing them for years, my favorite has to be the Subie 914 though.

Oh man, I wonder how many servicing jobs on that engine require that it be removed in order to gain access.

Wheel standing street vehicle.

Not for my taste. I would keep a porsche engine in a porsche if I had a porsche. who you gonna sell the bastard to?

what's the HP of that engine? How's the weight compared to the stock engine? Four speed or five?

Nice, but I think a 928 would be a better candidate.

I'd use the new LT1 though, that's one heck of a motor GM designed! Its going to be putting out all kinds of power once the aftermarket guys get a hold of it.

Hot Rod Magazine's Inside the new LT1 - Corvette Forum

GM's also pulling an Audi and sand bagging the heck out of the power rating. 450hp..yeah sure, ok...
