As for the Heartburn Specials...I found out a few years ago (on my own) that anything that has cottonseed oil in it gives me one MAJOR case of heartburn. I read the labels and put it back on the shelf for some other poor sucker to suffer with.

As for the burgers? Now?

Don't do enough in 4 hours that I can justify eating a triple-decker, let alone a double anymore.

And the buns? Something in the ingredients is acting on me in a way that I'm feeling like I'm being choked off.

I'm starting to "eat out" like I'm doing the Atkin's thing. Hold the bun, just put the meat on the plate, plain.

That's how I ordered hotdogs from Sonic last week...but with the toppings with it, no bun.

All this being said, if you have heartburn a lot, I'd recommend getting an endoscopy (not the same as a colonoscopy -- to prepare, you just need to fast for 12 hours, no laxatives or anything else) to make sure there are no ulcers, hiatal hernia, or other worse nasties lurking down there.

Probably the only good pizza joint west of the Hudson River...
