Closing the LEO Loophole: Update | The Truth About Guns

The movement keeps growing, keep making fun of it.

CMMG, Midway, and Bravo Company are some big ones.

Lots of names on that list that do a lot with LEO. Lewis Machine Tool will probably sign on and they have lots of LEO sales.

Cops have been getting way too big/militarized for their donut-stretched britches in the US. If their playing field is cut down to size, this can only be a good thing.

However, I don't see the inability to buy a 10-round magazine as an indication of a "slave state." There are very many facets of freedom, and firearms ownership is a small part of that whole.

Agreed. And think of the money the taxpayers will save if the DB's can't run out and buy all the expensive toys on their christmas lists...

Problem is that a few manufacturers will still sell in states with more restrictive laws, and they'll be able to profiteer from the situation. Since few state house members have the testicular fortitude to control law enforcement funding (even where it should be cut), the cost may just get passed to taxpayers.

Firearms Industry NY LEO Boycott Update: 71 Companies | The Truth About Guns

It keeps growing.

LWRCI signed up, they are a big supplier to military and LEO. That's really going to affect any NY state departments that want AR's, ouch.

Some of the companies are reporting annoyed officers contacting them because they are having difficulty getting magazines. Their response is we have more than enough business selling to friendly states, were not doing business with states that ban our products anymore.

Pressure is increasing on the big boys to take a side on this issue. My bet is that Glock and Sig join, S&W might not, and HK just doesn't care about US civilian sales.

I suspect your going to be seeing very expensive HK and FN products in LEO hands.

Good cost them money.

OTOH they are going to be using manufacture mags only, because at the rate this list is going in another week no man manufacture in this country will sell to them.
