Dayum! Thoughts and prayers are with you, jp!

Wonder if those restrictions might have been related to the other issues?

Thanks for the well wishes. The procedure went well, but still has me worn out and weak. This is a feeling I've never felt before, but the docs say it's normal.

I was allowed to have my internet back late last night, as well as my cell phone...they weren't happy with me when my daughter gave my phone to me to use while in my first room. Someone said that they saw me online...yup, on my phone. I wasn't aware that Tapatalk actually showed you as being online, but now we know.

I can't remember the blockage amounts, but there were two and I ended up with stents to open them up.

I'll tell you this...the feeling I had when I collapsed was intense. They say it was a mild heart attack, but I must be a heck of a wimp, because it caused me to pass out in my dining room. I was having a weak feeling and chest tightness as I headed into the kitchen to get something, but when I turned around to come back into the livingroom, the pain increased and stopped me in my tracks.

Through all of this, I learned that I have been diagnosed with CHF, LVH, and an extreme intolerance for hospital food...the latter being the most bothersome at the moment, since my kids told me that they had pork loin for dinner last night, and it's still a few hours before they bring a breakfast tray of tasteless wholesomeness. for me to turn my nose up at.

There's a chance I can go home today, or I may be here for another day. I've been very busy at letting them know that I want to go home today, not tomorrow...but I don't think they are understanding the urgency in my voice, so I don't know if it's going to happen.

just because they classify it as a mild heart attack does not mean the pain was mild!

Best wishes for a speedy exit from bland food hell!

Mild means minor heart damage, but there's nothing minor when it's your own health!!

Take care of yourself, JP, and keep looking for the good. Drop more updates when you can.

Glad to hear you are under Dr.'s care.

AS much as laying around waiting to get out of the hospital sucks, it beats the ***** out of the alternative.

Prepare yourself for a pretty substantial change in your diet. Those bacon wrapped meatloaves sure taste good, but they do terrible things to your arteries.

I acquired quite a liking for Salmon post heart attack.

Hang tough big guy,

David
