You did miss that part. Your comment about "some snakes will not eat dead prey" leads any reasonable person to three conclusions: #1) you did not read the article #2) you read the article but missed the part about the snake species on Guam - which does eat dead prey; or #3) You were stating a fact which is accurate but had nothing to do with the topic and/or are not applicable.

I didn't believe you to be a person who will quote facts which are not applicable, so #3 is out. I didn't believe you to be a bad reader who needs remedial reading comprehension courses; which means #2 is out. This is why I asked if you read the article.
Apparently I over estimated your reading skills- or you are stating facts which have nothing to do with the topic. I won't make those assumption again about you or others.
