Bought a grease gun...

Love it to bad .45 isn't as plentiful as it once was.

Crude heavy thing though, really amazing how far we have come compared to say an AR or Scar. Well on the flip side these were built for what $13 during the war?

I'm going to SBR it and stick an 8in barrel on it next. I'd love the full auto version, but mine is $19,000 cheaper so that's fine for now.

OTOH its amazingly fun to shoot, can't hit much because the sights are a joke, but its a "volume of fire" kind of firearm.

I used to have a few cool guns. S&W 686 .357 magnum. Sold it to my mechanic's Castrol rep. Had a few other shotguns I sold as well, nothing interesting. Had a 9mm UZI when I was a punk, just for kicks. When we had that first assault weapons ban I sold it a fraternity brother and doubled my money. "It is to thee... dear old Theta Chi" lol

Maybe will buy something again, but have no interest in them except for some occasional bird hunting.

I need to borrow that grease gun. The LR door on the SD is really in dire need of some lubrication. At least this gun is useful.

I do.

It's resting comfortably in the "enclosure". It's a 20' x 8' portable garage. Does the job for a fraction of a conventional structure.

Might have to take it to ME in a couple of weeks...............oh the horror of driving it in the winter.

Love those cars. Have you put much $ into her lately. Iirc there were some issues to "iron out" during early ownership.

I really miss mine

The initial $5K of "ironing out" is done and it has not complained about much of late, thankfully. However, yours truly tapping the van with the rear bumper in the dark, one night, is going to result in a $1500 tab.

It's a terrific road car..........but miserable around town. Reminds me of a smooth and elegant version of the SDL, but the SDL had better visibility.

It only racks up about 4K per year so, hopefully, the future maintenance won't break the pocketbook.

Still gets between 21-22 mpg, like clockwork, no matter how it's driven.
