Firearms manufactures refusing sales to NY law enforcment..

BREAKING: LaRue Tactical Plans to Limit Law Enforcement Sales to Civilian Standards | The Truth About Guns

Olympic Arms Stops All Sales to NY LEOs | The Truth About Guns

Good I hope more companies get behind this, especially big suppliers to the Police like Sig and Glock.

They should all refuse to supply firearms and spare parts to any governmental agency in NY State.

Because if its not good enough for a civilian, and is to dangerous for that state...why should law enforcement have it? British cops don't carry guns, NY police should try it.

Why should the dear leader get to strut around NYC like its the capital of the east coast protected by armed body guards?

From what I read, the law as miswritten actually applies to cops as much as non-cops (hate the term civilians since cops aren't military). Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to NYPD going back to 6-shot revolvers as they carried till the 90s. Such weapons tend to teach cops to use their brains (if any) before they shoot, as opposed to spray, pray, reload, spray and pray some more.

Yawn. Let us know when Glock and Sig Sauer jump on board. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I guess the Police will have to issue Guns they confinscated.

Actually if there Department has standardized Weapons it would not be so easy to switch to other Guns due to repair and so on. However, someone will sell them the Parts they need.
It is more likely to effect the Officers buying there on Weapons then the ones the Department buys.

LaRue does, he just donated $12k to the Calguns Foundation.

LaRue will bother Law Enforcement because their OBR series of rifles is what SWAT teams want, and there optics mounts which they should refuse to sell are the best in the business.

Oxygen deprivation revisited!

"Causes of Excessive Yawning

A primary cause of excessive yawning can be lack of adequate oxygen in the blood according to medical practitioners. Yawning enriches the oxygen supply to the blood enhancing your responsiveness in various situations. Though yawning is generally related to the deficiency in blood oxygen, excessive yawning can be caused by numerous ailments. Excessive yawning is characterized as the occurrence of up to four yawns in a minute and continuing for some time.
Ailments such as brain tumor, epilepsy, cardiac problems, anxiety disorders, encephalitis, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, etc, can cause excessive yawning. Medications such as anti-depressants and medicines used in the cure of Parkinson's disease are known to cause excessive yawning. There is no need to be distressed, however, consult your doctor forthwith.
In case your problem is excessive yawning only, you may be asked by your doctor to watch for other indications and report. Take a short break and be alert to discover the attendant symptoms. The more frequent causes associated with excessive yawning are disturbance in normal sleep pattern, namely, mononucleosis, sleep apnea and insomnia. In case, you have no associated symptoms, your yawning, most probably, could be the result of susceptibility to other's yawning. The spark-off can be either visual or emotional and the diagnosis is not weird. Even after studying all these symptoms and if medication is not the cause of excessive yawning, further examination is required to be done to find out the causes of this malady.
Excessive yawning is actually not an indication of tiredness or exhaustion. Others may consider something is amiss, and may misread your excessive yawning as caused by boredom or fatigue. Funny.

Say.... Did you know that if a Governmental agency needs your product you must sell it to them? Otherwise they can rescind your permit to do business in their state.

I have been involved in this sort of deal firsthand with oil biz. There are some fuels and lubes that must be blended to some rather exacting, and Top Secret, specs, and if you are capable of blending them then the DOD can order them and you MUST produce them. And they have to meet DOD specs or you get to blend them over again.

If you own an oil refining company and object to the governments way of doing things then you can refuse to sell to them. After they stop laughing you can either start refining or lose your permits to operate. It is entirely up to you.

I expect these firearms companies will be hearing from someone any day now if their products are required. Of course it is also possible that another firm will step up and take over that business and will then start trying to knock them off in other markets.

I used to have companies go Galt on me and I would always tell them to take a hike. I was looking for a supplier when I found them and I could, and would, always find another.

Except as the law is written now, the products are illegal to sell within NY state, regardless if the customer is government or private. The companies would be open to lawsuits and/or criminal prosecution if they broke the law.

There is an exception for LEO's written into the law. I think it is on page 32 or thereabouts.

Apparently, it doesn't cover all provisions of the law. I hope the gun companies succeed in their boycott. Cops in the US are over-armed, over-militarized and under-brained as it is.
