Another offer out ... and a custom plate

After I buy a few more properties, 4CLSER is available :) Or KTBO -- Kick The Bums Out. How about MKHOMLES? Or UPYRSBEN? Perhaps BUMKICKR? SLMLORD? PVTYEFCT? BUMOUT? Soooooo many choices. I'll probably pick none of them, since key marks on my car don't look purdy.

how about

duushbag
überlib
captlst
senator
congrsmn

all of these should get the same shock response :)

then I would say get your tag of choice and proudly display it!!!! why worry about a few scratches when your joyous cerebral sensation will outweigh the negativity brought upon by the downtrodden who will lash at your display of vanity and snobbery. just saying :)

Anyway, feels good to vent my frustration at ZimBen and Chimp #2 here. I'm not a 9-5'er, and I feel like I'm being forced to invest "use it or lose it" if I'm to have a comfy life.

Life certainly can't always be about what you have, can it?

I'm not looking for riches, just for comfort and stability. (Having enough rental property to live rent-free in NYC for starters.)

I don't have the temperament for a full-time job, so I have to content myself with investments and freelancing. Keeps me out of jail -- last time I was W2, I came VERY close to kicking my boss's face in. And working for any pr**k or c**t full-time would do that to me, no matter how nice they were. Living like the average American slave, with no vacation, no time to decompress, 45+ hours a week would drive me to take it out on my boss.

At least I know that I'm a lone wolf at heart and can admit it -- wolves tend to want to rip the throats of anyone who tries to cage them. Better to know what makes one unhappy and attempt to arrange one's life to avoid that situation than to suffer in silence.

Yep.

Understanding oneself and realizing that you are unlike many others is highly valuable.

I'd be dead from internal organ failure if I had to get a W2 from some of the large companies I must associate with. It's phenomenal that they manage to make money in spite of the profound stupidity of their employees.

I tip my hat to you for striking out on your own at a young age.

Or management depending on the company ;)

With management, it's all about the big money. If they can produce it, the failures at the small end are irrelevant to them. This always bites them in the ass, eventually, but it takes quite a bit of time. They end up on the street with a huge paycheck and the company must reorganize and refocus after their departure.

Take a look at JCPenney.........talk about a complete moron.

I was thinking more along the lines of Circuit City but I see your point.

Hey, does anyone remember these guys?

What about Crazy Eddie's, if anyone remembers that little crapshow?

That company is a real curiosity. They competed very effectively on price, which is the driving force for a sale. I cannot understand how they f'ed that up.

Circuit City was never price competitive in most cases and their business model used expensive salesmen that nobody would pay for.

Folks won't pay for salespeople with skills.........that's why the Wal-Mart and Best-Buy survive..........everybody in there is brain dead and they pay them peanuts.

Although, BestBuy is now really struggling.........the internet is kicking their ass.
