Porsche boat...

PORSCHE BOAT in Powerboats & Motorboats | eBay Motors

As someone who is very rarely surprised when it comes to boats...this one got me. Never heard of it or a Porsche marine motor.

I know Lexus/Toyota made a marine V8 for a bit, but never Porsche.

Only downside is I can imagine parts cost a fortune, are hard to come by, and its probably fragile compared to other high performance marine motors. But it surely is unique.

This is from PORSCHE Design, same family, different company. Eliminator boats wanted to put two Audi V10 TDI's in their boats. I think Bob, the owner even went to Germany to talk to Audi.

You are correct sir.

How fitting to take the powerplant from a 'Shark' and use it in a boat.

If you have a 300k boat you probably use this tool called a debit card and pay fifteen hundred for someone else to do it.

Can we get a summary of that thread in less than 50 words? I tried to read it and couldn't take it seriously enough to get through 2 pages. Thanks
