I got

Large pistol primers today in Phoenix. That makes me the WINNER. Kudos to Sportsman's Warehouse for charging regular price on them. They had a halfway decent supply of 9mm, .40 and .45acp factory loads as well. 2 box limit.
Could it be that the idiot hoarders are starting to run out of money? Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of douchebags. At the risk of sounding like spdrun, I can't wait to start paying them pennies on the dollar for all the stuff they bought when their hair was on fire.

I really hope that happens and the demand goes down. I decided before my birthday that I wanted to buy a S&W model 19 and a PPK after I turned 21, and here it is 4 months later and it still hasn't happened yet, I was born about a month too late I guess lol.

That's 'cause you Aussies are tuff! Killing something using a gun is considered "unsporting"! Crikey, that's why you have two hands and a knife!

Ammo and reloading supplies on CL? I doubt it. Gun related posts are a no no and get flagged PDQ. Maybe Backpage and Armslist. The Phx Backpage is full of morons asking 50 and 60 dollars a thousand for primers they paid 30 bucks for at Walmart.

Very old news, and it's circulation among the unwashed contributed to the panic. Like they needed another reason.

My mistake. Yes backpage. Thats pretty much it, they want gold prices and he gets them below what they paid

Here in the Pitts area, I can find many ads with those items for sale/trade...It's all in how you use your search terms, I guess.

I'm ok so far on ammo. I'm headed to the farm in Ohio near the end of next month, and will bring back a decent supply of target reloads, as well as factory ammo. I may bring my reloader and supplies back with me as well...it would give me something to do other than drive my wife nuts. It's good "busy work"...mindless and repetitive.

Since I reload single stage mostly, I find the concentration required; no tee vee, no radio, no conversation or disruptions to be as close to meditative as I ever get. It's one of the rare times I can shut off the crowded-room conversations going on in my head all the time. I like it almost as much as shooting itself.
