I prefer "falling back" to "springing forward" . . . .

Awesome, I live for DST! You can't imagine how happy I was when they announced it was being expanded.

So you prefer it getting darker earlier as opposed to later?

You can't imagine how much extra work it took to ensure that the computer systems would handle the change at my employer. Multiply this by the number of companies that rely on computer systems having the correct time and you get a fantastic cost. All for pretty much nothing.

LOL. No, I spent 8 years at my last job with no windows in my area. I'd go in to work when it was dark and I'd come out to dark ... All year long. I got to see the sun at lunch and weekends.

Since working from home, I enjoy sunrises and sunsets, and I try to be outdoors as much as possible.

I'm looking forward to crashing on the couch while it's still light out.

That sounds familiar. I used to work in a windowless office, too. Now, I work at home. I can get my daylight fix from having a cigar on my deck, though, no need to resort to yard work.

You're right ... I don't know what I was thinking! I need to get my head on straight.

Yeah, I knew what you meant, I was just teasing....

But few people lose an hour of sleep. The lose an hour of being awake! Most people sleep in the extra hour then go to bed at the same time, thus no sleep loss!

Great for flying.

Private pilots love it.
Especially those in training.
