Get your affairs in order by 4/13/36

Apophis: The Asteroid That Could Smash Into the Earth on April 13th, 2036
Quote:
Apophis is an asteroid with an slightly offset orbit to that of Earth's. Discovered in June 2004, astronomers have determined that it will make a very close flyby on Friday, April 13th, 2029, where it will pass to within 5 Earth diameters of us. The exact path the asteroid follows on its flyby in 2029 will determine whether it smashes into the Earth seven years later.

Dr. Michio Kaku said depending on how it passes by in 2029 when it comes back in 2036 it could be a nation buster so get your chit in order or ........

According to the doc it seems if it were to hit the US land mass it would seriously mess us (or what ever land mass it hits) up to the point that you would not want to stick around.

Seems a more recent article says we are safe (what do they know) and the odds are 1:1,000,000 that we will get hit.

When I was listening to Dr. Michio Kaku the other day he seems to indicate that the odds were a bit better than that.

We have 8,444 days to figure this out. So we have some time.

I'll be 88 in 2036 or so. If I am still kicking.

I think it means new jogging suit and black Nikes.... because it's not really an asteroid... it's the Mother Ship.

And on a Friday the 13th, no less.

Surely this is the end of mankind.

This time.
