@ SXSW?

I'd buy the doofus part...

Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

I went last year and had an awesome time. This year the line up didnt spark me too much.

Not this year. Saw some of the best shows at SXSW.

I have been around it many times but never attended. I have relatives that live in Austin and found myself caught up in the traffic a time or two.

I was there last year but only because I was in town on business. It was weird to see all the usual haunts taken over by folks from out of town.

But it is good to see someplace becoming a 'convention' destination besides Las Vegas. Not that there's anything wrong with Vegas; it just seems like every convention on Earth is held there and it is nice to see something different now and then.

I said I wasn't going but in heading up there tonight to see Gepe. Show goes on at midnight and I have to be at work at 7 am. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

I had the opportunity to go for my former employer a year or two ago. I was torn on it - on one hand its SXSW paid for, but on the other I would have been repping health insurance all weekend which is my least favorite thing in the world. Ended up not going.
