Citroen also did that in the 60s on the DS -- also banned by Dumberican law.

I really like this quote:

"Automakers bundle options that people want with new features that people don’t know they want.”

Great way to increase sales, but for those of us who actually do the research before selecting a vehicle, what about a way to get the options we want without being forced into others we don't?

I hate the whole "package" setup.. If I want a sunroof but I do not want the other crap that comes in the package, then let me get just the sunroof.. or.. or

let me get the highest spec engine with the lowest spec interior. I want hand crank windows, a manual transmission, and no sunroof but the big engine. Now, you can't do that.

LEDs only emit a narrow spectral band. Perhaps color-blind or mildly color-blind people have less ability to see it than the broader spectrum of an incandescent lamp behind a red filter.

I hate Xenon lights, they blind the living crap out of you if they are not properly adjusted. Every freaeken POS Honda junk VW, or old BMW is rocking them and I'm sure they are only the best kits Ebay sells.

I am fine with them, the only ones that are problematic are the idiots who fit the super bright bulbs to halogen reflectors. Those are blinding and should be illegal. The new A6 LED headlights are excellent.
